Blue Label Telecoms footprint expands
Johannesburg (4 July 2011) Blue Label Telecoms' subsidiary, Cigicell (Pty) Ltd, has partnered with Prepaid24.co.za to make prepaid services easily accessible to online users. Blue Label Telecoms, a leading distributor of prepaid secure electronic tokens of value and transactional services, has extended its distribution channel by offering its prepaid vouchers online. This was made possible through a partnership with Prepaid24, a leading online vending platform of prepaid products and services.
"Consumers will now be able to purchase prepaid airtime and electricity via EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) from their bank, making prepaid services readily convenient. This opens up an additional channel for us to market our prepaid airtime and electricity products", says Alan Kodesh, Managing Director of Cigicell.
"We are pleased to be able to provide our products and services to the fast growing South African online community of consumers through Prepaid24", adds Brett Levy, joint CEO Blue Label Telecoms.
Gert Lindeque, MD of Prepaid24 is excited about the partnership: "Consumers want convenience and security and together with Blue Label Telecoms we can now offer them the latest technology in terms of recharging airtime, electricity and data at a click of a button. We have found that most consumers prefer and trust the security of the online service that their banks offer, and are comfortable making an EFT to purchase prepaid products from us".
This partnership enables Blue Label Telecoms to further extend its vast network which presently exceeds 140 000 points of presence in South Africa.
