Blue Label Telecoms appoints Mteto Nyati to the board

The board of directors of Blue Label is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mteto Nyati to the board as a non-executive director with effect from 13 October 2010.

Mteto Nyati has served in the roll of managing director of Microsoft South Africa for the last two years. Prior to being appointed to that position he spent 12 years at IBM in a number of senior executive roles, including director on the board of IBM’s South African operations. Mteto has a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Natal and was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to study towards a Masters degree in Germany which he had to decline for personal reasons. In 2004 he was named one of Yale University’s World Fellows on Global Leadership.
