With the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the recent heightened concerns around possible cases in
South Africa, we continue to put measures in place to safe guard our employees, customers, suppliers
and contractors. As a result, we have reviewed our visitor policy to ensure that we minimize any
risk of
spreading or contracting COVID-19.
The following temporary change comes into effect immediately
If you are expecting to visit any Blue Label site; please expect to be contacted by the Blue
Label
staff member you intend to meet. They must ensure that BEFORE any travel arrangements are
made that you have not visited OR been in *direct contact with anyone that has travelled
internationally in the last 14 days. This is regardless of whether or not they are showing any
symptoms of the virus (*direct contact is defined as within 2metres for more than 15 minutes).
In the event that you have travelled to or been in contact with anyone who has travelled
internationally; alternative meeting arrangements such as a teleconference or video-conference
should be explored.
Should a face-to-face meeting be required, please explore every possibility of delaying the
meeting
to April 2020. We expect to provide updated guidelines
to our visitor policy
prior to April
2020.
Where a face-to- face meeting is required before April 2020, and cannot be rescheduled, visitors
will be required to subject themselves to a temperature test. Any visitors whose temperatures
are
at or above the prescribed temperature will be kindly asked to leave Blue Label’s premise.
Please ensure that you follow this guidance. Blue Label wishes you and your family well during this
time where we all need to be extremely vigilant.
